| This plaque was erected by Bilston Community
Association in April 2009 following a major event held by the CA which
was held to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the closure of Bilston's
Steelworks. The closure of the Steelworks was a major blow to Bilston's economy from which it has never really recovered. |
