Christmas past was merry and bright
How we danced all through the night.
Swirling skirts and twinkle toes
Bejewelled hair and silken hose.
Drinks flowed freely, we all ate well
Sat at table, watched bellies swell
From fowl and pudding, beer and wine.
Gin and sherry and whisky fine.
Christmas present is all digital
